Occupational Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) can occur as a result of exposure to noise in a wide variety of industries and environments. A further consequence may be tinnitus (noise which appears to be heard without any causative acoustic stimulus).
A diagnosis of the problem may be made by audiogram and then through provision of a medical report with a doctor apportioning hearing loss due to exposure to excessive noise at work and other factors such as the ageing process.
About 50% of cases of noise induced hearing loss will experience tinnitus to a varying degree.
At KSH Law Firm we can take on any claim for NIHL on a 'No win, no fee' basis to investigate your claim and obtain medical evidence.
All initial enquiries are dealt with free of charge.
